What Kari Schultz doesn't like about MyLua's Cafe:
I dove in here to escape the rain. This is a small cafe with a mixed menu and bright red decor. My coffee was ok but there wasn't really anything that would draw me back In finer weather. View all feedback.

For a delicious Vietnamese lunch in the cbd, which has a menu with all her favourite dishes, it is worth visiting my lua. we have tried the following dishes: vermicelli bungalow salat with nem nuong (home made Vietnamese pork sausage) and grilled pork this was the first time that I had eaten nem nuong, I thought it was a bit fat, but it was not at all, the meat was very well flavored and extremely tasty. rice paper rolls with assorted fillings garnish, bark meat and black the rolls tasted super fresh inside, I enjoyed the diving sauce that accompanied. steamed bao rolls with bbq huh and swarm the rolls were quite large compared to the ingredients inside. I would give them a hint as I read more
My lua takes an interstitial space between high-end office blocks. the full-day caffe is owned by candice anh nguyet, who immigrated 16 years ago from vietnam. in 2013 she took over this former Greek takeaway business, which pumped a trade with burgers and pasta dishes. nguyet has a long process of change that was finally finished this month to bring the authentic taste of the Vietnamese food from saigon to sydney. her concession to this position holds a Aussie style coffee n’toast brekky over the usual Vietnamese suppe and noodle breakfast. the outer tables are arranged under an undercut.
The caffe is located near the town hall and harbour. eating was okay, the used bungalow was a bit hard. a softer rolls would have been better
This eccentric little cafe has an identity crisis. It has Cafe/Vietnamese/Greek cuisine. I tried the lamb pita with chips. The chips were freshly fried, and were nice and crispy. The lamb however was tough and had lots of sinewy bits, so it was quite hard to eat. The pita bread was a bit too thick and tough, and was just not that enjoyable. Interesting decor. Maybe I'll come back to try the Vietnamese food.
