What Eatwithmyfoodsafari likes about Mr. Bee:
A decent Thai takeaway. I usually don't go for Bain Marie style food however the price was right when I went to get a late lunch. They offer a before 12pm and after 2pm special of $6 which includes rice with up to three choices of extras like meat or vegetables. They also only accept cash but considering their prices that was perfectly acceptable. br/ br/ I had a Veg Fried Rice With Honey Chicken. It was tasty as ha... View all feedback. What Dax Muller doesn't like about Mr. Bee:
The taste of the red/green/Penang curry is good but they use cheap thigh meat!!!!! In Sydney centre!!!???? So you have to pick out gristle and fat before you eat. Half the chicken is wasted and inedible. It's cheap but so unfortunately is the quality of the meat. Also they're not very friendly and you feel rushed to order as soon as you walk in. read moreThe restaurant offers authentic Pad Si Ew that is even better than what some Thai food vendors in Thailand sell. The Tom Yum soup is said to be good, although the seafood tastes like frozen food. The red/green/Penang curry has a good taste but cheap thigh meat is used, resulting in a lot of wastage. The service is described as brisk and efficient. The restaurant offers a before 12 pm and after 2 pm special for $6, which includes rice with up to three choices of extras. They only accept cash, but considering their low prices, it is acceptable. Customers enjoy the Veg Fried Rice With Honey Chicken dish and find the portions to be massive and affordable. Overall, it is a decent option for cheap Thai food in the area.
