We enjoyed a high tea at the Fullerton Sydney. Tea is served in the historic section of the hotel. The food was of good quality. It was slightly cold due to a breeze from the George St entrance. We could probably have requested a seat further away. Overall a good experience. View all feedback.
What VinNewcastle doesn't like about Mosaic:
One of those irritating bars that only has table service…except there is no or slow service. Let me go up to the bar to order, would have saved 25min wait for nothing. Irritating. View all feedback.
My friend and I called in for a quick drink on a hot Sunday afternoon before heading off to show. The service was great. The drinks were cold. The ambience was very nice. This bar is on the ground floor of the Fullerton Hotel which itself used to be the GPO in Sydney. Literally the centre of the city. The building is heritage listed and is absolutely beautiful. We didn’t have anything to eat but noticed a few tables having “high tea”. It looked delicious.

My wife and I dropped in to 'The Bar ' for a light and early dinner, prior to heading to a concert at the City Recital Hall. We always head to 'The Room ' for the quiet atmosphere. Before heading there you should always notify staff that it is your destination so they know you are there), and take some menus with you. That way a staff member will take your order, expeditiously. On our latest visit, we ordered some Spring Rolls $18), with sweet chili sauce to share. My wife ordered the Gado Gado Salad $18), consisting of seasonal vegetables, puffed tofu, potato, free range eggs and home made peanut sauce. I ordered the Casarecce Pasta $27), consisting of thin cylinders of pasta with broccolini, pumpkin, roasted pine nuts, parmesan cheese and kale pesto. We finished our meal with Matcha Layer cake, Matcha icecream and coconut $18). I drank a tasty and nice flavoured black tea and my wife had earl grey tea. Milk came with the teas, but we didn 't need it. The food was really delicious and we both were quite satisfied at the conclusion of the meal. Service was cheerful and efficient. Happy to go there, anytime. Highly recommended.
Cam here a couple of times and wasn't disappointed. Very hospitable service with a great atmosphere at anytime.
I went to the bar this morning to ask about buying a gift voucher for my sister to enjoy high tea. The staff member asked me to wait and disappeared down Near the lobby. He was gone for so long and was last seen standing chatting to guests. I was standing at the bar and thought I would ask someone else. Next thing a guest walks up to the bar and just starts saying to the staff “hello hello I am still waiting for a tea” followed by another coming in and yelling “where’s my **** Mary”. It was seriously awful. No one getting served and staff walking away. They did get my $170 ish for high tea and I walked out stressed by ghastly guests who have no concern for those waiting patiently to speak to staff. Awful place
