Two thumbs up for this contemporary Mexican restaurant on the strip opposite Manly beach. Yes! Love Mex & CoI have been very "judgy" when it comes to Mexican or what's really considered "tex mex" since moving to Sydney.
The menu clearly marks gluten-free items. The staff was very informed and verified the gluten-free options. The food was delicious and all three family members with celiac disease were able to enjoy without any negative reactions. We tried the beef, chicken, and bean nachos, all of which were excellent. I inquired about the deep fryer and was informed that while they do fry battered foods in it, their hot chips are not safe for gluten-free individuals.
There is a wide variety of options available on the menu. The waitress informed me that all of the chips are gluten free. I decided to order the nachos and they were excellent!
