After a big day sightseeing we saw that the restaurant had a early dinner special. It was a good variety on the menu and included a drink. I ordered the lamb shanks, my husband had the rump and chips, and my son had the ribs and chips. Every enjoyed their dinner. Great service and delicious food! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Mediterranea:
I took my mother and partner there for lunch today. The service was good, but the food was so disappointing. We ordered 2 x lobster Mornay and it was lucky to be the size of cancer, 3 small mouthfuls per serving...charge over $30 for everyone. Also ordered lamb... spits that were 3 pieces of diced lamb on a spit and lots of onion and capsicum to hide the lack of meat, also for $30. Don't get back. Very expensive for... View all feedback.

Having trawled the waterfront looking for somewhere to eat we decided to take a chance on this restaurant. It turned out to be an excellent choice. I had the Wagyu Rump and it was one of the best steaks I have eaten. Perfectly cooked and no fat - delicious. My wife had the Pide and daughter had the pizza all of which were well received. Staff were efficient and attentive.I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
Nothing too much trouble for the staff here who were friendly and helpful in advising my daughter who.has various food allergies. They were able to adapt the menu to suit her dietry requirements at no extra cost. We had a lovely meal there despite the bad weather. The only niggle was that the only loos were in an adjacent shopping centre.
When you're on the Western side of Darling Harbor you pass a number of restaurants with nice views of the Sydney skyline and marina. Most of the restaurants post their menu by the sidewalk so that you can see what is available and compare the dining choices and prices. My wife and I were looking at all the menus when she spotted "chicken pide" at Mediterranea. Pide is a kind of stuffed, folded flatbread. Service was expeditious and efficient. Our server input our drink order into his tablet and our drinks arrived before he completed entering our dinner order. Dinner arrived piping hot, steam rolling off our plates! My wife really enjoyed her pide, and I enjoyed finishing her plate for her. I would be remiss if I didn't say that the Crispy-Skinned Salmon I ordered was superb - best salmon I have had in the several months I have been here. There is little doubt in my mind that I will be going back for another dish. Prices at Meditteranea were marginally lower than most of the other restaurants along Darling Harbor - another plus.
Happy hour was great with $10 jugs 1140 ml. We also had a dozen Morney Oysters each because they were sooo good. This is a good place to people watch. Service was fantastic. A beautiful view of the harbor and short walk to the ferry system. If you wait til dark to catch the return ferry to Circular Quay you will be rewarded with beautiful views and photo opportunities of Luna Park, the Sydney bridge, and the Opera House.
