Mama J is conveniently located in the Wynyard train station, so the seats fill in lunchtime, why were many people in and with the snack. I ordered the vegetable cushion SI EW and was pretty impressed by the portion size. They did not hit the vegetables and taste way was not that bad. Unsertively, there is many better tasting options elsewhere, but for convenience, value, and decent food is not a pity, an option.

OMG worst service ever. When I asked for a cup after purchasing a meal and a coke, the woman yelled "no"... So I walked off but then saw they had plastic cups by the Thai coffee they sell. So I went back and 2 women glared at me and after much heated discussion in Thai, said id have to pay. Wow. So friendly. After that encounter, food was not quite enjoyable.

I ordered the veg pad si ew and was quite impressed with the portion size. They didn’t skimp on the veggies either and taste wise wasn’t too bad. Undeniably there are much better tasting options elsewhere, but for convenience, value, and decent food, it’s not too bad an option.

I think Mama J deserves a higher rating than it's average of stars! The two times I have come here were to pick up some food after work. It's located inside Met Centre on the way to the Wynyard train station, making it a very popular place for people who are taking the train to grab a quick dinner. They do these special takeaways for around Last time I bought the chicken pad thai and although it was not the best pad thai I have eaten, it was well worth it's price. I would come here again to grab dinner one day after work when I don't feel like cooking!
