Went there for lunch today and had ragu with pappardelle. It was nice, but very overpriced at $35. And then they wanted to charge 10% extra because it was a tab... read more Went there for lunch today and had ragu with pappardelle. It was nice, but very overpriced at $35. And then they wanted to charge 10% extra because it was a table of 8 or more. However, the bill presented at the table was the menu price only and the 10% was charged to the poor person who collected cash at the table and then went up to pay by credit card. The waitresses and waiters were the rudest I've met, ever, in any country and that says a lot. I wouldn't dream of going back and strongly encourage anyone thinking of going there to go elsewhere unless you have too much money to spend and like snobbery.

In contrast, the downstairs space offers a more intimate and stylish ambiance, complete with an appealing bar and exposed sandstone walls. It has an atmosphere that you could easily imagine the Godfather enjoying in a quiet corner. It's hard to find better pasta, even in Italy! P.S.
