Went there for lunch today and had ragu with pappardelle. It was nice, but very overpriced at $35. And then they wanted to charge 10% extra because it was a tab... read more Went there for lunch today and had ragu with pappardelle. It was nice, but very overpriced at $35. And then they wanted to charge 10% extra because it was a table of 8 or more. However, the bill presented at the table was the menu price only and the 10% was charged to the poor person who collected cash at the table and then went up to pay by credit card. The waitresses and waiters were the rudest I've met, ever, in any country and that says a lot. I wouldn't dream of going back and strongly encourage anyone thinking of going there to go elsewhere unless you have too much money to spend and like snobbery.

I am very predictable when it comes to ragu pappardel... read more The benefit of off site webinar in the city is we usually get to enjoy a long sumptuous lunch as a reward. I am very predictable when it comes to ragu pappardelle and order them every time they appear on the menu. This time I resisted the strong urge and was determined to order something else other than pasta. I am glad I did. My veal with prosciutto green beans was satisfactory to say the least. Veal was tender, moist and not over cooked; the lemon sauce was just enough to cut through the two types of meat without being too citrusy. The green beans wrapped in prosciutto was a nice side and didn't make the dish too meaty. In addition the service was very attentive, our water glasses were constantly topped up. It was on the pricy side for everyday lunch if I had to pay for it, most main courses were around $30 roughly. But it is not a bad option for business lunches.
