I get takeaway food from Laksa King every week. I always go for the Malaysian chicken Curry. The sauce is so rich and packed full of flavour. The laksa here is pretty good too. If I have time to dine in then I will go...More View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Laksa King:
Looks like very popular in lunch time. A lot business suite people line up waiting.Tried the wonton laksa. Ordered the spicy plus. Turned out still not spicy enough---a taste for white people. The laksa soup is ok, a lot coriander and dry shrimp tastes, Thai style more than Chinese's. Very disappointed the wontons were not hot, just a quick drop of icy wontons into the soup. Not cheap, when the next door is selling b... View all feedback.
I love laksa and had to try this place. I ordered the spicy duck laksa and the chicken satay. The broth/soup was delicious: very flavorful, well-seasoned, and not overly coconut milk. It was rich and delightful. The noodles were good, but not exceptional. The tofu was not my favorite, however, the soup made up for it. The chicken satay was decent, although I prefer smaller chicken pieces as the larger ones can be a bit dry. However, the sauce helped with that. The prices are reasonable for Sydney and for a laksa, I would definitely come back here.
A very small laminx table style venue that I think would be very popular in the middays (which probably explains the handwriting signs on their wall, which do not ask tables for longer time) the huh birianyi I was ok, but a little too. oily according to my taste and not according to the standard of my regular dining places in the food stalls/orders in singapur. most of the main were around what was appropriate for the size and quality of the plate. I'd rather pay a little more and just go to the market a little more.
Six friends met for lunch. I've eaten nice food. Unfortunately, the lamb listed on the menu was not available at the beginning of the lunchtime. but the noise of the place was overwhelming. I didn't hear my phone ring calling for surgery several times because of the noise. we couldn't talk about one end of the table to another, the sound was so overwhelming. the beautiful food was pampered by the poor,
I am a huge fan of laksa, so I just had to try this restaurant. I decided to order the spicy duck laksa and some chicken satay. The broth was absolutely delicious - full of flavor, nicely spiced, and not overwhelmed by coconut milk. It was rich and delightful. The noodles were a little disappointing, not bad, but nothing special. The tofu didn't impress me either. However, the soup more than made up for it. The chicken satay was decent, though I would have preferred smaller pieces of chicken to avoid dryness. The generous amount of sauce helped though. The prices were reasonable for Sydney (in AUD for a laksa). I would definitely come back here again.
We tasted laksa in singapur and now we are always looking for a place to get laksa! this place is just a small hole in the wall, but the staff is friendly and the laksa is very good. for us is the most important factor in a big laksa the broth and this has hit the mark. it was spicy with the right amount of curry and cocose. we had the seafood laksa and there was a good portion of seafood to noodle. were huge; portions we couldn't finish everything. was it the best laksa we've ever had? No, but it could be the best laksa you can get in sydney. we have stuffed but satisfied! tipp: after lunch break.
