My favorite jajjangmyeon in town! They gave me a generous amount of sauce and the noodle was so good. It was chewy and really soft. Must try!. Cooked Seafood, Fried Veggies Mustard Sauce $29. Not my favorite, the mustard sauce was peppery and it tasted quite normal. The vegetables are fresh and the onion was quite decent. The seafood are also fresh as well. This dish is good for replacing salad because this is salad... View all feedback.
What Ebony Hammes doesn't like about Kao Kao Korean Fusion Restaurant:
Came here for lunch and ordered the chicken and egg fried rice and spicy chicken noodles (wasn't spicy at all). Both were quite good but nothing spectacular! I think the restruarant is meant to be a fusion between Chinese and Korean but it seemed to be missing the key components of both. Didn't have any korean side dishes except for yellow radish which was a little dissapointing! :( The service was quite friendly whi... View all feedback.
This is my favorite restaurant for black noodles. I also love the deep fried pork bowl with sweeter and acidic sauce, which is my top dish to accompany the nudes. they also do good fried chicken dishes (boneless) and spicy seafood nut soup. the portion sizes are quite large, so share it!
We have some fantastic Chinese Korean restaurant in the city, but they were all pushed in lidcombe area when the price of the sea rocked sky. arisan used to be great about 6 years ago, but her menu was diluted so much that I don't go there anymore. kao kao is the only hope we have in the city when it comes to good jajangmyeon. I've been through jajangmyeon and gan poong gi. as expected jajangmyeon tasted super and although the coating on fried chicken in gan poong gi was too thick for my lust, it tasted nice. I give this place 4 bears.
Just great korean fried huh. the chili garlic chicken and prawn fritted rice with black bon sauce. I would recommend this place.
2 years ago there were 2 nights in succession when we were in sydney, but recently went back, various tellers, many noodles, less veg and meat. my partner had the seafood, oktopus very rubbery. he left most of the food. when we paid the bill, we mentioned how bad was eating (min was not brilliant,) and the manager would say that the next time we don't make it rubbery. there will be no next time.
When cravings for jjajangmyeon turn up, this is the place to go, always. Literally every single table orders the black bean noodles in this restaurant. It’s the most popular Korean-Chinese in the CBD for a reason. The food is great value and the servings are actually huge. You will leave this place full af.
