After finding his restaurant was close to the town hall, with some pretty good reviews I thought I'd give it a try and wow we were welcomed by lovely wait staff and we chose the autumn sampler menu.It was full of flavour and had plenty of delicious dishes, and would defiantly go back. What User doesn't like about KABUKI SHOROKU Seafood Japanese Restaurant:
We visited here in March 2017 and were disappointed by our experience. We ordered the toothfish special, which was delicious but it was an extremely small portion (I mean really small - it was like less than half a small fillet - see photo) with some ginger on the side. This was $32. We ordered a salad to share, that was $20 for an iceberg lettuce salad with avocado. The food was great but very poor value for money.... View all feedback.
This restaurant is perfect for those craving traditional Japanese cuisine. The lunch menu offers excellent value for the price, so be sure to book a table in advance as it tends to be quite popular. The service is also top-notch.
This Japanese restaurant is very authentic and sophisticated, reminding me of Japan. I enjoyed the seared sushi assortment and assorted sashimi. The teriyaki salmon (not pictured) was a bit too sweet and slightly overcooked. Dining here for Japanese food can be quite expensive.
Amazing sushi!! The omakase experience transcended my already high expectations. Accompanied with the ambience of the interior and the friendly, yet professional service, this restaurant deserves the highest praise.
Probably one of Sydney 's more authentic Japanese 'kaiseki ' experiences...if you can 't fly to japan for the weekend spending a few hours here can kinda do the trick...well expect English isn 't as spoken over there 'minor details '...<br/ <br/ While admit I was wow ed the first time we went here for years ago...each visit has made the allure wane...as it 's good but not that good #firstworldproblems<br/ <br/ <br/
This Japanese place offers privacy and a setting for a more formal lunch. I had a special lunch set. I ordered grilled oysters, teriyaki chicken and salmon sashimi. <br/ <br/ I probably would not go back for the grilled oysters. I like mine fresh and simple whereas these oysters were covered in mayo and grilled. The teriyaki chicken was a bit pink, probably from a blood vessel rather than undercooking, but I'd rather not eat pink chicken if I can help it.
