I Chi Ban Teppan-Yaki Japanese Bbq

Just went with a few friends for dinner and I have to say that was the most entertaining dinner I had for a long time! Great place!! ????

I visited here on a Monday night with work colleagues when in Sydney for a conference. It was fairly quiet and would be interesting to see the atmosphere if it was packed. We all had a banquet and had each course cooked fresh in front of us. The quality and taste of the food was really good but the real fun was with the egg and rice which was tossed at us by the engaging chef. Certainly not a place to visit if you want a serious, sit down meal, but great if you want a fun night.

Food is good. Atmosphere is energetic and fun. GREAT interactive BYO dinner with a group a friends. Highly recommend!

We came with a group of 8 adults and 4 kids to celebrate a birthday party and everyone had so much fun! Not only was our Chef 'Solem' so entertaining and talented - also the food was excellent quality and good value. We went with Banquet B and loved every single dish. BYO wine is a bonus too! The host was super accommodating and we felt very welcome - thanks so much we'll be back on a regular basis!

When you are okay when food is tossed at you, eggs landing smashed on the floor and rice is flying through the air and likewise landing on your lap or on the floor go there. I have been raised with a strong awareness that food is here for eating and not to play with - too many people around the world are starving.But let me talk about the food quality anyway: we had a beef eye filet: I've never seen so pale looking beef! We not have been asked about how we want to have it cooked and (best of all) we had to eat it without anything else. Fried rice came later in another course... When it came (air delivery which the cooked tossed and we had to catch it with a bowl): It was overcooked, did not taste freshly prepared and was rather warm than hot.
