Hot Star Large Fried Chicken - Sydney

My favourite thing about this place is that they’re open until late. So if you’re ever hungry in town and want something filling and delicious this is where to go. I bought the XL fried chicken and I was pleasantly surprised with how well seasoned it was. I was super full as well from the portion size.

Authentic Taiwan street food, tried their original fried chicken and crispy chicken bites, both were delicious and tasty, the original fried chicken is really huge piece of chicken with bones at the end, really tender and juicy too. There’s no dine in option, so you have to take it away or just eat it while standing on the street. Definitely worth a visit if you like fried chicken or street food.

My friend and I had been craving this restaurant for a while. We finally had the chance to try it out. They only offered original chicken, which was seasoned with a "spice" that I wasn't too fond of. However, the chicken was incredibly juicy and made with real chicken, bones included. I did get a little burnt by the hot juices that shot out when I took my first bite, so be cautious!

Hot Star Chicken is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend trying their original hot star chicken and their deep fried mushrooms - they are especially tasty when freshly made. However, I was not impressed with their chicken ribs as they were bland and lacking in flavor (besides salt). I would not order them again.

The massive fried chicken at this restaurant is incredibly flavorful and delicious. The bottom portion was not edible due to the amount of bones, but overall the chicken was a generous portion. The chicken bites were also excellent, especially in the spicy flavor.
