Description
The restaurant at QVB offers a mix of experiences, with some customers enjoying a pleasant brunch while others found the order process rushed. Food delivery was quick, but opinions on the dishes varied. The cafe offers typical breakfast options, with highlights including a $5.90 toasted ham cheese croissant and a good latte. For Thai food lovers, Home Thai in the QVB is a must-visit for a taste of authentic dishes. The cafe is a convenient stop for Campos coffee enthusiasts and offers a range of food options. Overall, the cafe provides a quick and tasty meal in the heart of Sydney.

Caught up with a friend over brunch and was quite a pleasant experience for the business in QVB. Order process was a bit rushed as my debit card was almost snatched out of my hand and pay-passed without my consent (I avoid PayPass where possible). I ordered the Body Cleanse and Seasonal Fresh Fruit Salad (with yoghurt and honey). Food was served in a timely manner. My drink was a bit too sour and had an imbalance of fruits in the ingredients. The fruit salad has good produce, just not enough of it. There was about four - five different fruits, and very minimal honey. Whilst it is a place I probably would not return to again, the food delivery was the highlight as there was almost no wait at all.
Good coffee and many sizes of coffee cups so make sure you check what size you are after and some nice collection of healthy juices though very pricey.
Unlike the main Home restaurant on Sussex Street which serves Thai food, this branch offers a cafe menu only with sandwiches, pastries and coffee. Takeaway is encouraged with higher dine-in prices and breakfast specials for takeaway only eg. $6.50 for a regular coffee and two slices of toast. They use Golden Cobra beans which made a smooth skim cap (though mine was a tad too milky). I also enjoyed the Brickfields fruit and nut toast. The daily muffins ($4 takeaway) looked enticing and appear to be freshly baked. Will have to give that a whirl sometime.
I’m a big fan of Campos coffee so I tend to go to cafes with their beans. This place makes a good creamy coffee with a nice flavour. It’s a good quick pit stop on the LG of the QVB has a nice range of food too.
Wonderful experience. The coffee is the best I have had in town and the service is wonderful. The staff are always so nice and friendly and nothing is a trouble to them. The food is exceptional, from the sit down meals, to the freshly made muffins that I grab with my coffee. A little oasis in the middlw of the city.
