I recently sat with a group to lunch. I was not aware that it was present in the hotel civic on the top floor. I could not harm the food that was tasteful and generous. combined with very good service it is a winner. highly recommended. View all feedback.
What Michele Goldner doesn't like about Green Peppercorn:
Had dinner here whilst in Sydney on business. Very slow service. Entree of chicken satay was really disappointing. Tough chicken. Tasteless sauce. Main was better. Crying tiger salad. Tasty and a good size. A bit of a mixed bag View all feedback.
I really liked eating here. tom yum seafood was particularly good. beautiful and spicy with a good selection of seafood. the employees are very efficient and follow all rules for social distancing.
I could not try my friends dishes because of kovid, so can only comment on my own, which meant to be an ananas fried rice with tofu, but she forgot the tofu, so it was mostly rice
At our short visit to sydney we were looking for a beautiful Thai restaurant near our arrival. peppercorn at civic turned out to be an excellent choice. the selected dishes were fresh, aromatic and tasty; service friendly and efficient and to supplement it all...off, inexpensive. the ambiente is relaxed and comfortable when they are hard to hear can be a little loud when they are busy. visit this restaurant in any case at our next visit.

Only get to Sydney once every year or two, but when I do I like Peppercorn for a no fuss, tasty dinner. I always have the red duck curry, but this time I had had red chicken curry at home the night before so I...deviated......the beetle leaf starter is very sweet and tasted a lot like granola, the prawn pad thai was underwhelming. Dinner was saved by basil and chilli stir fry with seafood- delish. Next time I will have to stick with this and get back on to that duck curry.
