Breakfast for six at Gazzi and we were all very impressed! Lovely ambience in a little foodie lane at World Square. Service was outstanding. Friendly and efficient. Smoothies, fresh juices and coffees were all spot on. Then there was the food - wow! Best corn fritters I have ever eaten, great muesli and gazzi breakfasts. Generous serves, reasonable prices. Can't fault anything. We will certainly return. View all feedback.
What Payton Veum doesn't like about Gazzi Bar and Cafe:
it now has new owners of previous reviews. the food was disappointing. fattoush salat had no brot in it?! and was soggy and limp. she meats hard, flower cabbage salat tasteless. and all very expensive for what they get. View all feedback.
I ordered chicken Panini and my friend ordered salmon sandwich. Unfortunately Panini smelled bit old and salad was dry. I tried to eat (because I was really hungry!) Sadly I had to give up eating... I just ate fries which came with panini. My friend couldn't finish her sandwich too, she said bread was too hard and not nice at all. I wouldn't come back here.
Orange juice alone is perfection. Staff are incredibly friendly and sing along too. Would highly recommend for breakfasts.
The menu on this website is totally different, please update. Nice cute place but Super slow service. I went there to catch up with my friend during her lunch break on a not busy at all Saturday. We ordered 1 burger 1 smoothie 1 chicken sandwiches with chips and told them we only had 30 minutes. We had to check back 20 minutes later and the Asian guy behind the coffee table was annoyingly ask "so do you want to take away your food", not even a sorry. As my friend is a receptionist how does she suppose to take away and eat in a front desk of a hotel? We almost asked for our money when they brought the food out. My friend said she never had such a bad service from this place before. The food was not even good as my chicken was burn and bitter, very oily chips and a simply boring veggies burger that should not have taken that long.
We just walked by this establishment while in the CBD and thought we would have something to eat. I ordered the chicken schnitzel and the portion was humongous as it came with coleslaw salad and fries. The chicken tasted like pork to me but some people may have a different opinion. Overall it's not a bad dish, it just depends on individual preferences. I also had the "muscle up" smoothie which was delicious and had cocoa in it. Customer service was okay and we had the feeling that the staff member were getting ready to go home as it was 30minutes to closing time by the time we finished eating.
Early Sunday morning and it was abuzz with people. We managed to secure a table deep inside. I eyes the Big Breakfast but somehow something inside me said "No". I chose the corn fritters and did not regret this - a generous serve, fritters that are not dry nor hard, a flavourful combo with a dash of sauce. Lionel had the Benedict. Coffee was above average. The sun came up behind me.
