Was Grace at Fratelli Fresh a mag?
Really good location for afterwork dinner/drinks. On contrary to the other reviews, we actually enjoyed our time there. The lobster pasta was cooked al dente and had just enough sauce to coat the pasta and not cover your white top with red spots, although we did hope for more lobster for $39. Happy hours runs mon-fri from 4-6pm. I mean espresso martini's for $5, top another $5 for a margherita?! That's a steal. Givin... View all feedback.
What Bessie Grimes dislikes about Fratelli Fresh:
For a CBD restaurant situated in a Prime location, we expected good food. Instead our meals were sub standard when compared with Italian restaurants in the suburbs. The two grandchildren had meatballs with pasta. The meatballs were huge and when cut into it, was dry with none of the sauce marinating through. My wife has the Lobster pasta and it was tasteless and in need of seasoning. There were only a few bits of lob... View all feedback.
Delicious pasta, good service.<br/ <br/ Excellent flavour in the prawn linguini pasta. The pasta was not quite al dente, everything else was great. Would have the same pasta again
Fratelli Fresh consistently delivers delicious food, especially their pizzas and pastas. The service can be inconsistent at times but you always leave with a satisfied and full stomach. They also have a great selection of wines to choose from. #frattellifresh #lobster
Giving 5-stars here to this place for me is very easy and I'll explain why, this place is 300m from my office and they do a happy-hour from 3-6 where they do 3 cocktails, house beers, wines and 2 classic pizzas (the margherita and the diavola) for $5, yes, only $5 which is so much value. So having 2 pints and a pizza after a long day makes everything better and knocks me down by only $15. on top of that, they do daily lunch specials which also brings down the prices.About the food, its good quality, fresh ingredients and full of flavour, I like the fettuccine and prawn but my favourite is the Bresaola and Burratta pizza (which I have on Tuesdays as they do 2-1 pizzas that day), the staff is also a very nice and attentive.
The cocktails were decent (tried the bellini and negroni), the pasta was quite tasty (tried the fettucine with seafood, linguine with prawns), and the desserts were exceptional (tiramisu and hazelnut gelato). The service was friendly and efficient, and the restaurant appeared to be quite spacious.
