Menu
A comprehensive menu of Fourth Fish Cafe from Sydney featuring all 19 dishes and drinks can be found here on the list.
Nestled in a lively locale, Fourth Fish presents a varied seafood menu that delights with fresh offerings like barramundi and prawns but stumbles with its often criticized chips. While the ambiance is charming, it can be overshadowed by noise from eager families. Service is notably inconsistent; some patrons rave about quick, friendly interactions, while others recount distressing experiences of rudeness. Despite the service hiccups and occasional missteps in food quality, the overall value and inviting outdoor dining atmosphere keep diners returning, proving that the allure of freshly prepared seafood frames a unique, if unpredictable, dining experience.

What Anonym dislikes about Fourth Fish Cafe:
solid would be, but the staff is very rude and the chips are garbage. fish and seafood are super! had the barra, dory and garlic. all delicious, very good value for the quality. the chips were not good, raw potato is never, but was still full of the entree/main.Nice vibe in the corso, if not very loud with many screaming children go wild View all feedback.
Simple place with a atmosphere that can bring you back to the old style of local fish and chips store. Good food, nice service with a awesome staff.. recommended
This charming neighborhood restaurant offers a wonderful variety of seafood options and frequently has special dishes available. It is family-friendly and perfect for dining outside on nice days. I ordered the pan-fried salmon with chips and salad, while my wife enjoyed the popcorn prawns with salad. Another perk is that you can bring your own alcohol.
I have visited this cafe twice now and have been very pleased with the food both times. The first time I went for lunch and had a fish burger, which was not particularly special but met all expectations for a fish burger. The fish was fresh and not overcooked, and the slaw complemented the oily fish perfectly. The second time, we ordered a Fisherman's basket and Szechuan salt and pepper squid, both of which were amazing. We were pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the oysters in the basket, and the salt and pepper squid was simply divine. The service during the first visit was not the best, as the waitress was friendly but a bit slow. However, the second time around, the service was much improved, with everyone being friendly and responsive to requests. I will definitely be returning to this cafe and would highly recommend it to others.
There are not many seafood restaurants on the North Shore, so when we were in the mood for some fish for dinner, we decided to try Fourth Fish. The restaurant surprised us with its size, offering both indoor and outdoor seating. Since it was a chilly evening, we opted for a table inside and began looking through the menu.
OK, you simply can't cook fish at home cheaper than this if you have simple grilled fish and chips. What is everyone doing? Get out there folks and support your local restaurants.Sure there is plenty on the menu that costs a little more, but hey, it's good and simple, sit in the plaza on a warm night and watch the world go by. BYO or grab something there, it's easy.
