Our bartenders were super friendly and made the perfect cocktail suggestions after getting to know us which we really appreciated! Even better that Duke the bartender is also an impressive magician!

The dark and moody... read more Employees Only, a famous New York establishment, has made its way to Sydney CBD and I didn't hesitate to choose it for a special celebration. The dark and moody interior instantly transported us to the heart of West Village in New York, and all I could think about was cocktails. We tried four different cocktails throughout the night, and by the end, we all agreed that the La La Land ($21) was the undeniable winner. The passionfruit puree blended perfectly with the vodka, and the sparkling wine added a sweet and carbonated finish to the drink. We decided to have one more to mark the occasion.

My girlfriend and I tried the Amelia (purple) and Bella Grazia (red watermelon) cocktails, which we enjoyed, but found the Ready Fire Aim cocktail a bit too smokey for our taste. The food was equally impressive, starting with bone marrow shots cold platter, followed by a large plate of grilled prawns with a spicy kick from chilli and chorizo, and crab pasta. The portions for the mains were generous and could easily be shared between 3-4 people.
