I went here for lunch with my colleagues The service was really prompt with our meals being ready within a few minutes of each other. The food was nice. I perhaps found it a little bland but i haven't tried many Malaysian dishes to compare it too. I did enjoy the curried chicken which had a lovely rounded flavour and melted in my mouth but still could have been a little spicier.

New modern Malaysian in the recently upgraded Chifley food court.  The food overall is tasty, but don't expect much protein for the price (Chifley rents and all that). I've tried the Ria Ayam - very nice chicken, but not much of it; the roast duck with noodles, duck was delicious but very boney and not the nice thick fillets in the picture at the counter, and the tossed noodles underneath are very bland; and the clear noodle soup with chicken - very filling and generous but not much actual chicken in it.  In short, a decent but not great feed but don't compare the quantities to some of the other Asian takeaways around town, this is at the premium end price wise. napolirestaurantalert.wordpress.com

This is a brand new outlet in Chifley Plaza food court. The whole food court has had a revamp and after being closed for months, there are a new range of new food outlets including this one. As part of the Chinta Ria range, they do the Malaysian classics and different items as well. The menu is large enough to give you choice but not too much to overwhelm you. They had small bites (very yum cha orientated), soup noodles, BBQ, traditional items, from the wok, roti, and benny lunch boxes. Service was good but they were overwhelmed a bit by the large crowds as one of the first ones to open in the food court, there was not much competition at lunch time and a very captive audience from the workers at Chifley Tower. I tried the Clear Noodle Soup With Hokkien Noodles (they were the thick egg noodles which I enjoyed as thought they might be the round ones you usually get) with Roast Duck. I also had the Roti With Coconut Jam (Kaya). My expectations were exceeded with the Noodles. Thinking they would be just plain soup noodles, I was pleasantly surprised that the noodles had a nice soy taste to them and when the soup was added it was flavoursome and hearty. The roti was nice and crisp and love the kaya that was served with it. It is worth a try and look forward to tasting more of the menu! ***edited 23DEC16*** Looks like I didn't order the Clear Noodle Soup above as the chicken one I got yesterday was totally different to the one above! I would've had the Roast Duck With Tossed Egg Noodle With Sauce as the noodles were definitely different to hokkien.

I had lunch at this restaurant with my coworkers. The service was very fast, with our meals all coming out within a few minutes of each other. The food was good, although I personally found it a bit plain. I don't have much experience with Malaysian cuisine to compare it to. I particularly liked the curried chicken, which had a delicious flavor and was very tender, but I wished it had a bit more spice to it.

This restaurant offers a variety of Malaysian classics and unique items as part of the Chinta Ria range. The menu is extensive enough to provide choices without being overwhelming. They offer small bites, soup noodles, BBQ, traditional dishes, wok items, roti, and bento lunch boxes. The service was good, although the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed by the large crowds. Being one of the first outlets to open in the food court, they faced little competition during lunch hours and had a dedicated audience among the workers at Chifley Tower. I tried the Clear Noodle Soup With Hokkien Noodles topped with Roast Duck, as well as the Roti With Coconut Jam (Kaya). The noodles exceeded my expectations, as they had a flavorful soy taste and the soup was hearty and delicious. The roti was crispy, and I enjoyed the kaya served with it. Overall, it is worth giving this restaurant a try, and I look forward to sampling more items on the menu!
