Was Anonym at Cross Eatery a mag?
Stopped in for breakfast. Ordered a breakfast roll. It wasn't what I expected. The roll was more like a lunch offering. However it was really good and healthy. Coffee was also good. Staff were helpful and friendly and breakfast was very good value. Happy to recommend. View all feedback.

What Melba Hirthe dislikes about Cross Eatery:
Nice place, very open plan, friendly and attentive service. Food delivered to my table within 5 minutes. Had the slow cooked lamb with 2 salads - broccoli/brussels and beetroot. Lamb was really nice, tender and flavoursome. The salads though we're ok but drowned with dressing, too much for my liking - overpowers the flavour of the veggies which became indistinguishable. This reduced my enjoyment of the whole meal. View all feedback.

Salads for the Instagram generation. This place came recommended, so it hurts to say this, but I have to be honest - the value is just not there. It has no different when we arrived when we arrived that they were from the asparagus salad, the roasted lamb and the ham. That may not sound like much, but if your decisions are limited to four salads, four proteins and about six pages, you have lost 20% of your menu. We had the salmon gravlax with a wild rice and a green bean salad (22), the mushroom salad (8) with one side of the pumpkin (7) and a rare beef toastie (15.50). The wild rice salad did not really taste much to be honest, and the prete-prete-prete-hock-salmon Gravlax Wow did not have me with taste. My brother found the rare beef toastie a bit too hard on the vinegar. I start thinking that if you want a good lunch in the CBD, avoid huge beautiful rooms where the rent and the ceiling sky are high, and stick to small holes on the wall, the good food at good value can pump out. The salads are decent here, but only fry a vegetable and roasting on an expensive ceramic harness, should not mean that they can calculate prices that leave their OPA breathing cards and reach them aspirin. And Gramps also has no Instagram.

I get my coffee all the time of Cress Cressery. Tried her breakfast for the first time and was blown away. I had the cross-Eatery role. I would recommend to anyone to give it an attempt.

I can't say enough about the divine food and the best coffee, staff are always smiling and eager to please, relaxing atmosphere and vibe. It's my regular go to. WARNING: it's very addictive after your first bite and sip....

Outstanding flavours in the salads.. I had the asparagus salad and the beetroot salad, yum!! Nothing bland here, and I'm normally one to steer clear of take away salads.. highly recommend this place.. a little pricey but I've eaten every mouthful!
