A very nice meal, drinks, service & experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. We actually tried to eat somewhere else but it was booked out. Lucky for us because we wouldn't have been able to experience this restaurant. I loved my King Prawn dish, coconut rice with Lollypop cocktail & hubby enjoyed his pork belly & 2 glasses of white wine. The service was fast, efficient & friendly. The experienc... What Norwood Kassulke doesn't like about Chinta Ria... Mood For Love:
Saturday night 8.30 pm we sat and had dinner. By 9.00 pm we were told the kitchen was closing and they asked for our last orders. At 9.20pm we were told rather abruptly that they were closing in 10 minutes. We were still eating.
They even had the audacity to ask if we wanted to leave a tip when we settled the bill.
The food wasn't that great either. It wasn't bad but nothing to really shout about. So with such unfr... View all feedback.
If the memory of place and eat is better than the return experience. Sachmo-Squid was, quite honestly, the best court I had ever been through in my whole life. it was a revolution, the new measure of excellence. the tile jack location was excellent, and nothing it seems will ever live of it. Unfortunately, it is not even a new little brother on the darling square. with the most expensive roti in the world- the are extraordinary $5 a pop, the post-vid dining experience was just one abandoned. this review hurts me. the satchmo-squid, oily and no tamarind sauce. only an oily chaos. a tiny coriander and 4 slices chili. the bark ria. recalls a basic Chinese bark stir fry, again oily and the bark, sooo bi- carb treated- they could taste it. the curry sauce for the red curry powder in cocos milk. like what's even for $3. great noodles and roti, but damn hell - the menu price is completely different from what they are accused. all in all, I will not disturb to go back. I'm just gonna remember my **** and pretend it's just a bad dream. I don't want to think that the beer they served us was hot because they didn't want us there. but the service was more definitiw colder than our drinks, which unfortunately means that we will never return. so depress my mind that something good is gone forever.
They were so busy, but still behind buddha. the personal was so friendly and also confirmed us with a lot of work. we ordered cattle endang, crab fried rice and entrees. all the foods were absolutely delicious and came out in a few minutes. will definitely...his back, fun atmosphere and thanks for the special table behind buddhas back
The Chinta Ria Mood for Love restaurant is the Love Child of the legendary Chinta Ria Temple of Love that once existed at Darling Harbour four years ago. Located on the top restaurant level 5 of Sydney Westfield, the restaurant is a perfect destination for...a delicious Malaysian meal either at lunchtime or for a dinner time treat. David, Alison and the welcoming staff never fail at making you welcome. I've been going to the Chinta Ria group of restaurants for over fifteen years and the service and food are never disappointing. My favourite dishes to sample here are Satay, Spring Rolls, Curry Chicken, Beef Rendang and Char Kway Teou. These dishes are full of true, good Malaysian flavour and portions are generous. My dessert favourite is the Sago Pudding! The restaurant has a fully licensed bar with cocktails, wines and beer. Highly recommended for the best Malaysian food in Central Sydney.
Our family have been regular customers at Chinta Ria and enjoy their great efficient service and excellent cuisine. Wine list is good and matches the pleasant ambiance. We will continue to be customers whenever possible. Highly recommended!
We stopped by Westfield on Pitt Street in Sydney, Australia and was pleasantly surprised to find this tiny Malaysian restaurant inside. The dishes were so flavorful!
