The curry beef with basil leaves goes as well with rice, the crab spring rolls is a bomb (highly recommended !!) The barbecue pork is pretty average. Grief

What Edmund Willms doesn't like about Chat Thai:
Chat Thai is always consistently good even when it is takeaway. The crab spring rolls (pictured) were delightful: light and not greasy and the massaman beef curry I ordered was fragrant, tangy and not too rich. #chatthai View all feedback.
Wasn't overly impressed this time. I ordered a chicken pad Thai, chicken satay skewers and fresh spring rolls. The pad Thai lacked flavour and depth - there wasn't much chicken either. The fresh rolls were covered in this sweet sauce, which I felt was too much. Only the satay chicken skewers were nice and I liked the little peanut pieces in the sauce.
I got introduced to this place by my batch mate in college a few years back. He said he cannot leave Sydney unless he has eaten again at this place. I was introduced to my first ever mango with sticky rice as we ate dinner somewhere prior to coming here. Eventually, I got more curious to try their dishes as I hear good things about this place. They have a different menu for lunch and dinner. In saying that, I would recommend ordering their crispy pork belly as it is to die for and pair it with either sticky rice of plain steamed rice. I also love their Thai milk tea. There can be a long waiting list outside the shop so better write your name down straight away on their logbook at the front of the shop and wait to be called by the waitstaff. I do however find their staff unfriendly and rushed in terms of service. I do not ever feel welcome when I come here but, I do come back because of the food. Prices of food and drinks are midrange and there are several dishes and drinks to choose from.

Food is tasty and Green Thai Curry is a must try. The services and staff are friendly also. The quantity of food is another story altogether, Same cost at other restaurants give you a lot more quantity than this place. Good restaurant and one time visit if you like Thai food.
