This little café in the CBD serves up surprisingly delicious meals at an affordable price, with a varied menu and great specials. The staff is friendly and attentive, making it a great spot for a quick lunch. The coffee is excellent, and they even offer half-sized portions for some dishes. The atmosphere is welcoming, with the added charm of Italian-speaking staff members. Don't miss out on their amazing sandwiches, which some customers claim are the best they've ever had. Overall, this café is a fantastic option in the corporate heart of the city for fresh, flavorful food and great service.

Was Delia Bailey at Caffe Corto a mag?
I have been coming here for years - so much so that the staff immediately know my order. My standard is the "Milanese" - a delicious chicken schnitzel on Turkish bread with olives and tomatoes, but everything on the menu is delicious: sandwiches, salads and pizzette. There are always a couple of specials to consider too. While there are other cafés in the city with better coffee, the consistency and quality of the foo... View all feedback.

What Henning Jakobsen dislikes about Caffe Corto:
I'll definitely be back, i had a delicious beef salad with beautifully seasoned/marinated beef over super fresh salad with fresh baby bettroot, baby bocconcini, beans, rocket and a yummy dressing. The service was so friendly and casual and felt european. We also had some nice...cookies to finish which ended the meal perfectly. Very reasonable prices for the CBD. View all feedback.

Seriously, $4.50 for a medium takeaway green tea on a paper cup and then grief from the staff for looking shocked! Maybe I shouldnt have paid it but I really wanted a tea! Going rate in Sydney... $3.50... And that is for a pot.

Fanatastic CBD cafe in the midst of a corporate environment the sweet aroma of 'Italia ' appears on the corner of York and Barrack St. From my vegemite on toast in the morning to amazing fresh salads and sandwiches prepared with the freshest ingredients, my taste buds shall always be satisfied by the Corto style food I consume daily. Lovely personable staff great atmosphere. Definitely recommend the 'salmone roll ' and insalata di mare.
