For coffee 3.8$ (small size) for sit in and 3.3 for take away Food is okay. price is the same rights other cafe Coffee doesn't tastes good and too hot. the best way to eat coffee here just wait for 5 minutes coffee gonna be better after I waited and drink surprisingly it becomes good .Don't forget to blend it before drinking.
I planned breakfast in the area so stopped here. The service wasn't that warm at first and there was no welcome from the attendant. I had the Italiano sausages brekkie which included sausages with two eggs on toast and caramelised onion with tomatos. Everything on the plate was very tasty with good flavours and the coffee was also very good. The onion seemed to be cooked to the right softness to allow good flavour infusion. The mushrooms also had a good texture and the eggs looked and tasted good. I didn't check the second level but the ground level had a nice setup with a bright outlook towards Kent Street. I did get a good send off but the greeting and welcoming parts probably didn't quite meet the grade.
Note to cafe owners: you only get 1 chance to make a 1st impression, and there's too much CBD coffee competition for 2nd chances. Did this cafe pass my 'better relative value than 7-Eleven $1 coffee?' test? Definitely not. Twice tried to charge me $3.80 for a piccolo when the proper price ($3.30) was displayed. More to the point the coffee wasn't nice. Watery, bitter, & I had to force myself to finish it. Very hot but that was the only good thing about it. The no-brand convenience store opposite has $1 coffee which is also pretty bad, but better & cheaper than this....
Basic breakfast food, poached eggs looked like they've been cooked in an egg poacher the ham was a bit dehydrated woolies packet mixery...but all was seasoned well the coffee was good. I'd give it a 3/5.
