Description

Located near the State Library, this cafe is a great spot to relax and refresh with a cup of chamomile tea served in a beautiful red saucer. While the coffee may not be exceptional and the service lacking at times, the cafe's convenient location and early opening hours make it a nice stop for a quiet coffee or a quick meal. Nice and quiet spot, but coffee is not great and service is in the same spirit. This is a shame as they have a wonderful location. Good point they even open earlier than the library

In the midst of a study day at the State Library, we stopped by to grab a tea to refresh ourselves and relax! I really enjoyed the chamomile tea - it came out in a beautiful red saucer and they even gave us extra honey on the side as well! Super convenient and well located if you're ever at the State Library. thekhana.wordpress.com

A great quiet place to have a coffee while either visiting the library to study or to see the library and museum area. The coffee was good, if not a little overpriced, and the food options seemed to be fairly good value for money too. Staff were friendly and very conscious of clearing dirty tables etc.
