Contribute Feedback What Imani Larkin likes about Cafe Phoenix:
We are regulars. The food and service are always first class. Yum Cha lunch is popular. Get there early; usually a full house. A la carte menu has all Chinese favourites plus chief’s specials. Too many nice dishes to name. Restaurant has been on the...top floor, above Westfield food court level in Pitt Street Mall, for many years. It’s tricky to find for a new customer and worth the effort. View all feedback.
What Daphney Bechtelar doesn't like about Cafe Phoenix:
Went there for a colleagues birthday. Tried booking online didn't hear back that evening decided to call the person on the phone said I had to wait for the online booking team to get back to me. Never heard from them. Arrived early at noon for the meal was seated near the entrance. The beauty of Yam Cha is the Wife selection of dishes. However when they only come around and serve you from the same few carts of dumpli... View all feedback.
This place is a little expensive but the food is lovely and the staff friendly. If going for dinner i suggest the Yum Cha dinner option
Went there on Saturday night, really friendly service and good food. Had to take it home with us ss there was so much.
I have been to this restaurant several times with friends and colleagues. The food has always been really average. The dumplings aren't fresh and are probably just re-heated frozen food. I have been to some really good yum cha restaurants in Asia and this restaurant...unfortunately isn't up to the mark. It is however well located in the Westfield tower.
Came for yum cha during the week with my young kids. The food was average nothing special. Some dishes were extremely salty. The bill came to for people and we only had drink. Either they overcharged purposely or the place is...an absolute rip off. They should have prices as the bill is in code and you never know what's what. We won't be going back.
This restaurant is essentially a mall type restaurant. Service is Average. Decor and ambiance are minimalist. Pricing are what you would find in First class restaurant but with none of the touches. Fried rice dish, beef with vegetable entree, lemon chicken item, and two sodas...came in at (WOW). Not recommended.
