Breadtop - Sydney
Breadtop
Description
The reviews for this restaurant are mixed. Some customers praise the quality of the food, especially the cakes and bread, while others complain about mistakes in pricing and staff attitudes. The bakery items seem to be a hit, with customers raving about the custard horns and chocolate croissants. However, there are also complaints about missing elements in cakes ordered for special occasions. Overall, it seems like a place with delicious options, but inconsistencies in service and attention to detail may leave some customers wanting more.

Was famished and craving breakfast. look at that beautiful ham and cheese tightly hugged by the glistening bread—all for $2.60. anything less than a 5 star rating would be a crime.
I never walk out of this place with the item that initially draws my attention in that beautiful enticing glass display of croissants, buns, tarts and pastry! Predictability always ensures I walk out with a sesame ball. The Pork Bun was blah - as it always is but ok. What surprised me today were the custard horns! I don't remember these in any of the previous stores Ive visited in the past few months. Picture Canoli except half the size and picture the casing soft to the touch but somewhat still flakey and crisp somehow. SO obviously when you bite into it, it literally explodes in your mouth with an oozing of custard! It's so cool!
Probably one of the most awkward Breadtop store spaces, ever. It's a triangular sliver of a shop with a single aisle so the space is a bit tight when there's a queue at the checkout the same time you are selecting breads from the display. Nonetheless, you'll find the same selection and quality of product as other locations.
When buying a seperate item for a neighbor was calculated extra 10 cent only for a small bag to wrap the small seperate element. then was asked if I like a carry bag. but eating is good.
