Blaq Piq - Sydney

A week of working from Sydney requires a strong breakfast to start the day! This dish was delicious, a nice hearty meal with yummy coffee so close to the hotel The cafe is a small unassuming place in a side laneway, but the staff were very friendly, service was quick and the food quite tasty with an Asian-inspired brunch menu! Only minor oddity was the latte served in a flat whit style cup, but coffee was still good! Pictured is the 4 Kinda Confit Mushrooms (garlic butter, sage, onion, ricotta and 63C egg) Skim Latte

We were a group of 9 for dinner. Food was delicious and cooked to perfection but the highlight was the outstanding service. In particular our young waitress (sorry didn’t get her name but she wore glasses) Great job!

Hidden down a side street, right near Hyde Park, the Blaq Pig is a real surprise. A fusion of western and Asian breakfast with great coffee

A little tucked away, but worth looking for. They made an excellent large cappuccino and matcha latte for us. I ordered a waygu beef sandwich was, unfortunately, raw when I tried to eat it but they graciously, efficiently, made another that was just fine. I appreciated their service! We'll definitely be returning for their pancakes and another round of caffeine before we leave the area.

In my opinion Blaq Piq us one of the best cafes in Sydney. Service is great, coffee is great and the food is inspired. We try to eat here every time we stay in the city. The menu is always changing and every meal I have tried has been delicious. It's worth searching out.
