Wonderful lunch with superbly presented food. Our table of 4 all had different dishes and each was 10/10. Service was excellent and a great choice of wines. Will book again when we next visit Sydney Thank you for a truely memorable meal View all feedback.
What Kate M doesn't like about Bistro Papillon:
We arrived and were greeted in a friendly French manor. Service was prompt and efficient. We ordered French onion soup as a starter. It was watery and bland, not your usual rich french fare. The bread and butter were excellent. Great palette cleanser between courses. Main course was confit of duck and my husband had the Bouillabaisse The duck was good but the Bouillabaisse was not. There were two prawns, two mussels... View all feedback.

I came yesterday. Everything was amazing! We had an amazing French waiter, just like if you were in Paris ! The food was excellent! We started with a charcuterie and a snail, we loved the garlic butter and the baguette. For the main we had the bouillabaisse, love the sauce and the French aioli, my friend had the steak and it looks outstanding ! Unfortunately we didn’t have time for desserts , but we will be back for sure to try them .
There were two prawns, two mussels and three small pieces of fish and some potatoes for $60. While quality not quantity is important this was just lacking in everything except for the price tag. It was very disappointing. My husband was starving an hour later it was so bad. We eat out a great deal, this was not a great experience.
