What Margie Mohr doesn't like about Bentley Restaurant And Bar:
Not my favourite degustation menu, too many seafood dishes. $400 for dinner and some drinks. I was expected to be wowed. The desserts were a real let down. I felt sick after the meal. View all feedback.
I've visited Bentley twice, and it has never let me down. The food is exceptionally creative, the service is outstanding and personable, and the wine selection is fantastic. If I could give it six stars, I definitely would—it’s absolutely worth the price.
Started going here before I went vegan and was delighted at their extensive veegan menu after going vegan. The Head Chef 's wifer is vegetarian, and she was the inspiration for the vegan/vege options after struggling to find places to eat that they 'd both like. Everyone is handed two menus on seating, the 'regular ' menu and the vegan one. All dishes are listed as a la carte, and can be turned into a degustation. It 's amazing to have a vegan degustation on demand! Option to pair wines with each course as well. Vibe: dark and moody. Cocktails: expertly created. Food: fine dining done well
I recently visited Bentley for a lunch with clients and was impressed by their ability to accommodate multiple vegan courses on short notice. The food was delightful, the staff were very professional, and the atmosphere was ideal for corporate events, plus it’s conveniently located in the central business district. They also offer a vegan tasting menu and vegan wine options.
We often celebrate special occasions at Bentley’s with their exquisite tasting menu and wine pairing. The staff is incredibly courteous, and the food is simply outstanding. While it is on the pricier side, making it not suitable for everyday dining, it’s a fantastic spot to enjoy a drink after work or before heading out to a performance or concert. The menu frequently changes, but they always offer great options for vegans and vegetarians. Also, it's the sister restaurant to Yellow in Potts Point, and the owner’s wife is vegetarian.
