Had the spicy ramen many times from this place, really decent to my preferences. View all feedback.
What Graciela Jacobson doesn't like about Ajisen Ramen:
Went here with a friend after a music concert in Town hall and stumbled on this place by chance when traversing around World Square. Seemed to be a few people inside, so decided to give it a go. The service was nothing exceptional, I didn't particularly like the fact that the staff actually dropped the bowls 2 times during my dining and gave me a bit of a jump fright. View all feedback.
The worst Bento box I've ever had, my bark ribs were so salty that they couldn't even eat them with rice. my daughter ramen were tasteless and noodles were so tenderly married chilli prawns was just drowned in sweet chilli sauce. it is always dissatisfied to see when eating is done so they can say that very little effort has been made to make eating well. everything was either too salty or greasy, presentation was pretty good, but terrible taste and texture. only good was the wrong suppe.
Poor service. we also got spaghetti noodles instead of ramen. very strange. I wish I had been looking here before the order.
Waited for an hour to be prepared for my order, although it was an estimated 15min waiting period. finally came the dumplings old and the smokers were prepared with spaghetti. I'm sure this fresh in the business would be a joy, as the...taste was good, but not worth waiting.
I ordered chashu wheels and everything was as expected that they used spaghetti instead of rammen. I had my fair share of ramen (and pasta) and I even ordered from this place before and avoid the riddles that I got was definitiw from spaghetti...pasta avoid. I called to ask why they use spaghetti instead of ram noodles and get an ignorant answer. so that customer interaction was not helpful. big ravens are: RaRa-Ramen, goyo or Ii ban boshi. that was my last command with asyen. sad.
I have a friend that lives in the World Square apartments so luckily Ajisen is a very quick trip to grab something that I know will not only fill me up but be relatively well priced as well. Ajisen is very non-assuming, you get what...you see. It's located directly next to the entrance of World Square on Liverpool Street. You don't ever need to reserve as it's not ever very crowded at any time. The menu is quite large with quite alot of different ramen dishes as well as special rice dishes, bento boxes, westernised entrees and quite a bit more. Ajisen does not have the best tasting food. It does not have the cheapest, nor the most robust or the most authentic. You get what you pay for in this place and it's not really all that bad. Sure, some of the dishes aren't the best but some of them really are quite good. Their signature ramen is great and their bento boxes are well put together and are quite delicious. If you want a quick, filling bite to eat that won't break the bank and will absolutely fill you up, Ajisen has got you covered. It's not bad, but it gets a 3 simply because there's nothing really special or noteworthy about it. You want ramen, you get ramen, you eat it. Give it a visit yourself!
