The cheesecake is a legend! Soft and gentle, with a dash of lemon flavor, tastes really good!
Also had a 6 inch chocolate cake take away. Pricey but definitely worth it. View all feedback.
The pub downstairs is called the Grand Hotel but somehow 2nd/3rd floor is 30 Knots by Merivale. It vaguely depicts the intended nautical theme through some thick ropes around pillar and random marine objects at the bar. 3rd floor has large tables for group dining, we usually sat at the bar on the 2nd floor. Had Aussie burger for lunch once, it was huge and not too bad as far as burger goes. Overall one of the better pubs in the city with decent menu but not cheap $20 on average for main dish)
Had a $20 Steak special $19 Meatlovers Parmi here on a busy Friday night. Loved the classic pub tunes and pumping vibe. Generous meals hit the spot and enjoyed washing them down with great boutique beer on tap. Very happy with the quality and size of meals for the price, particularly in Sydney CBD! Would return.
I’m glad to know that Merivale has managed to create a pub that is down to earth without a trace of pretentiousness. Better still, they have delicious food at affordable prices as the place isn’t too busy on a Friday night despite its location. It’s a great place to start the night off with some good quality pub food.
Delicious food at great prices for the city. Slow cooked pork is amazing! Go here every now and then for work lunches.
These Merival Masters have done it again... All that is missing is the captain who screams Gill i gan! The 30 knots is a small nautical theme bar...
