Charming atmosphere and delicious desserts at this rustic restaurant. Although I forgot to snap a picture, the buns with ice cream were absolutely delightful.
I couldn't resist trying their gelato burgers when I saw them on the menu, so I finally gave in during my visit to their restaurant. I decided to go big by ordering a gelato burger with two flavors (vanilla and hazelnut, Nutella and whipped cream) along with a coffee granita. The brioche bun was soft and fluffy, and the gelato was incredibly smooth. The granita had a strong coffee flavor and provided a nice contrast to the sweetness of the gelato. It was the perfect combination for an afternoon treat, even though I knew I was consuming a lot of calories and sugar. But it was totally worth it, and I have no regrets.
Decided to try this place due to the hype on instagram about their gelato burger and nutella aranchini. The prices are a little expensive. They have a limited selection of gelato’s to choose from all of which are quite unique. The nutella aranchini was not overly sweet. I didn’t really fancy the gelato burger as the brioche kind of overpowered the gelato. Otherwise, it was a good experience.<br/
I was invited to the birthday celebrations of the store, starting with a traditional Aboriginal smoking ceremony. It was a free for all, free icecream for everyone! But it was awesome with amazing staff, and friendly customers. So awesome to see a family business thriving. . The gelato burger was something truly amazing and unique. Apparently usually it comes with Nutella? I had strawberry and vanilla gelato inside the brioche bun yummo!
