Reviews - Rocca's Pizza Pasta
Reviews summary
Nestled within a spa retreat, this restaurant offers a mixed bag of dining experiences. While the food generally garners praise for its flavor and portion size—especially the scones during afternoon tea—many guests find the atmosphere uninviting and the service inconsistent. Prices are deemed steep for the quality provided, particularly concerning drinks. Breakfast offerings were particularly criticized, lacking freshness and variety. However, a few patrons enjoyed their meals, noting accessible vegetarian options and friendly staff on serene spa days. Overall, it seems prospective diners may want to temper their expectations before visiting.

Lovely fresh Pizzas and homemade lemonade. Food is reasonably priced but drinks seems slightly overpriced. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner
Our afternoon tea here was included as part of our Spa day. The sandwiches and cake etc were pleasant but pretty average. The large pot of tea had only one tea bag, unlike breakfast in the Ryder Grill. Unfortunately the service wasn't great and the experience felt a little bit like a production line. I even had to haggle to get a reasonable alternative option to the Prosecco included. Not great!
Lovely morning latte. Also had a light lunch, dessert a glass of fizz. Whilst on a spa day where we was relaxed to the max. Staff very pleasant, helpful and made our day enjoyable. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot

The ambiance was lacking, feeling quite cold and more like a cafe than a restaurant. However, the prices were high, particularly for the wine, which felt more like hotel pricing.
The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere and the service was good. The food was acceptable, but it didn't match the quality of similar-priced establishments. I was disappointed that Parmesan wasn't offered with the risotto. Overall, it's a nice spot located within the belfry, and I would consider returning if I'm staying in the area again.
The food was enjoyable, and the service was commendable. However, it felt a bit expensive considering the offerings, particularly the children's meals. Overall, it's a nice spot, especially if you're staying at the Belfry and prefer not to venture off the resort.
Stayed at the Belfry for one night and ate and drank at various bars and restaurants there that were all great. Roccos was such a let down compared. Asked for water for table which never arrived, no drinks menu, food quality was poor, pizza was very thin but dough seemed uncooked. Bill arrived straight after mains without even asking for it. Wouldn't visit again.

Had booked a table for three put on a table for two and third person squeezed onto same table . Sat under air conditioning unit which was freezing had to ask for it to be switched off . I had a goats cheese salad which was small to say the least ! Also this was the only venue available for use near the spa earlier in the day there was no lunch or quick bite menu only crisps chocolate bars and one crossaint available . Unless you had preordered afternoon tea options were non existent . I was visiting the hotel for overnight stay with my two daughters who were starving and had to wait until evening meal at 7 .
I was worried about the poor reviews but shouldn't have been because I had a lovely meal in a lovely restaurant surrounded by friendly, efficient staff. My friend and I shared a salad and fries to start, had a pizza each and a dessert each. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Pizza was lovely and hit the spot. Wine was expensive and the cheapest bottle tasted awful but besides that a lovely time was had. Would recommend.
I went with 3 girlfriends and was very disappointed. The restaurant doesn't really have an atmosphere, it is more like a canteen. The waitress was miserable and not friendly at all. Food was ok but two of us ordered a goats cheese salad and goats cheese pizza and there must have been a problem with the goats as there was a serious lack of cheese. The salad we did send back and ask for some more but we didn't bother with the pizza. I was disappointed. Kind regards.
The restaurant was quite cold and lacked a welcoming atmosphere. The prices were more in line with a café rather than a dining establishment, especially for wine, which was priced as if we were at a hotel.
