Beautiful Vietnamese food with BYO in Surry Hills! You should make a booking because this restaurant is popular. The appetizers consist mainly of rice paper and spring rolls that are delicious and come with six parts per surcharge. The menu is best shared, so you can try different currys, stir-Fry- and other Vietnamese classics. A bubbling atmosphere with individual and parts tables. View all feedback.
What Igor Ávila doesn't like about Xage Vietnamese:
Do not understand me wrong Xage offers delicious Vietnamese, which bursts fresh and with aromas, but it's the prices you abandon. The shrimpsallaw I had, was quite steep at $ 20, something she can get for $ 13, while my friends pork-stringing 20 dollars was, which was not useful for me, what she did not see with meat Greatly generous, dishes were the same price as a salad. On my most recent trip to Sydney, we planned to go to another Vietnamese eatery, however when we turned up, the wait time was going to be over an hour.
A very interesting placeOur ordered food came right now on time we didn't wait too long although the place was crowded at the time.
The slow cooked spicy beef sent me to heaven & back! It's essentially a spicy, Asian potroast that reminds me of mom's home cooked meals.
A bit on the pricey end but worth the money. Prawn rice paper rolls were a bit simple for its price tag. Slow cooked pork belly was packed with flavour and quite filling. Pleasantly surprised by the banana/ice-cream combination dessert. Don't forget to BYO wine
Came with my friend for dinner here. The restaurant is open air style, similar to an extended terrace. The atmosphere would have been good, there was no funny smell from the street, which hit the entire restaurant. The food was good - we ordered the spring rolls and duck-rice paper rolls to start, and the sticky pork shoulder and ginger chicken mussel stirred for Main. The highlight was the sticky pork that was delicious. The service was fine, but nothing special. No bad night!
