This place is just full of character. It has an industrial feel that suits the younger crowd. Food was excellent, service friendly and quick. Coffee was superb. A bit of a walk from the city but Central railway is close as in Goulburn street carpark View all feedback.
What Roberto Crooks doesn't like about Single O:
Great cafe tucked into a corner of Surry Hills close to Central Station. We got the mothership bowl banh mi espresso butter banana bread flat white Food and service was great, really enjoyed our brunch here! View all feedback.
Delicious breakfast, lunch with freshly ground coffee. really enjoyed my family and this was from the first meal in sydney after we touched down.
Nice small place to have breakfast. We went to it with the kids. They were friendly and the place was packed.Watch out as you can easily miss it. We went passed it actually and had to ask around before we found it. The only sign is the one on the picture!!The eggs were great as well as the Homus and feta open sandwich. We especially likes the big bowl of fresh and nice quinoa, beetroot, avocado, homus, kale, pumpkins and egg. Wow so fresh and so healthy. Our only disappointment was strangely the coffee. The Cappuccino was not perfect for some reason it was hard to know why! We need to try it again. We definitely will go again to this great little place.
Before our visit to Sydney, I had 'researched' the nearby cafes to our hotel, and saw that Single O was close, which I was excited about, as it came highly recommended.Although the space is small, the atmosphere is relaxing and the coffee is lovely. I was given the sheet with all the information of the coffee on it, and tasting notes which I really loved. I wish I had asked if I could've bought some of the beans, they were delicious! Both dishes we ordered were declared tasty and innovative. Presentation was great too. As we were sitting near the window and it was a bit chilly, the girl offered me a blanket which I thought was a lovely touch. It was super-busy but still the staff had everyone served and sorted. The separate coffee bar next door is a great idea too. The staff were lovely and friendly and we even came back a second time over our stay. Unfortunately this time it was completely chocca and there was also a very long queue so we had to unfortunately revert to the Reservoir over the road (see review), which sadly didn't come close to Single O for service or food quality or flair!
It was a great place for coffee and lunch, consists of pork belly and mothership which was popular. The waiting time was not too long. The price was reasonable for Surry Hills. Overall, good place to hangout. Definitely recommend it for caffeine lovers. ????
Tight little space but serves great coffee and food (had a delicious toastie). They have a separate coffee takeaway service just down the street. Service was adequate
