These are the best store-bought cinnamon rolls I have ever had. I got them at the Danzeisen dairy on 61st avenue and Southern. They were recommended to me by a coworker and they did not disappoint!!!!! View all feedback.
What Debbie S doesn't like about Baked Chemistry:
First time at this restaurant. I was impressed with the menu it looked very good. Ordered the quiche with bacon and asparagus for lunch HORRIBLE! It was a greasy, mushy mess. Asparagus was mushy, bacon was limpy like it had been steamed , egg mixture was mushy like an egg custard, but curdly, and whatever cheese they used on the top was extremely oily I could get a spoonful of grease on the top and no flavor to this... Tonight was the first time my wife and I have eaten at Vogue Bistro. This restaurant was recommended by friends who said that this is their favorite restaurant for special occasions. We had reservations and were quickly seated after we arrived. Our waiter Matthew arrived shortly after to answer our questions and tell us about the special. The menu has several items we could have chosen that sounded really good. My wife went with the night’s special, the scallops that included lobster bisque. I chose the Vogue Burger with a side of grilled plantains. We did not have to wait long for our dinner to arrive and we were not disappointed. I loved the burger and the grilled plantains. The plantains were so good I almost didn’t want to share them, but of course I did. My wife couldn’t stop raving about her dinner as well. We topped off our dinner with deliciousness chocolate fudge cake. Our waiter Matthew was very polite and made us feel comfortable. We plan on returning again in the future.
Made a reservation for a Tuesday late afternoon, My wife and I were planning on their Tuesdays Special (Two for $60). Opps that doesn't start until 4pm and we were there at 3:30pm. Nothing on there online website stating that. Our waitress asked the Chef if he could do it earlier. NOPE! When we arrived the Hostess attempted to put us at a table right next to the kitchen. The place was empty except for one other couple. I requested a different table and you would have I had asked the Hostess for her right arm. Very unprofessional! We've been here a number of times before and this was truly a disappointing experience. Don't know that we will be back!
Love the eggplant parmesan! Great food and service. They have a good selection of wines and our waiter made an excellent recommendation.
We had a pleasant experience at lunch. The patio was open, allowing us to enjoy dining al fresco, though there was limited indoor seating and a bar area with booths. The wait staff was attentive, and we decided to share a Salmon BLT and a burger. The restaurant wasn't busy, with only about ten guests at the time, yet it took 30 minutes for our food to arrive. While we weren't in a rush, the wait felt a bit long. The Salmon BLT came on a brioche bun, and we found it to be very good. However, the burger was quite small and overcooked; we had enjoyed their burger in the past, so we were disappointed this time. On a positive note, the kitchen staff and our waiter did a nice job by splitting the sandwiches before serving them. It's worth mentioning that staffing issues are common everywhere, and our experience might have been influenced by that.
I had an excellent experience on my first visit to Vogue Bistro! Our waiter provided wonderful suggestions. I ordered the filet mignon, which was slightly smaller than I had anticipated, but it was bursting with flavor! The wine sauce paired beautifully with the meat. The accompanying potatoes and roasted vegetables were also delightful. If you're in the West Valley, this restaurant is a must-visit!
