Lovely little Italian restaurant in Surbiton. Despite arriving early to try and get a table, the place has a really good vibe and not to mention good food. (Place was fully booked but accepted walk in entries if there was last minute availability) Menu consists of starters, pizza choices, pasta dishes, specials and desserts. There are gluten free pasta and pizza base available, these are not made on the premises and is made by a separate company. There is a small additional charge for this. Pizza is made fresh in their impressively large pizza oven located in the restaurant. We were sat at the bar area around this pizza oven and it was lovely to see the pizza masters doing their thing with stretching the pizza dough. Great selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks too. The place was clean and staff friendly and helpful. Will return.
The service was great, but I did not enjoy the pizza. The cheese was undercooked and the dough was hard. The music playing was very loud, making it difficult to have a conversation. I will not be returning or recommending this restaurant.
We absolutely adore this restaurant: the service is consistently friendly and attentive, and the food is always top-notch.
The food was INCREDIBLE We had the veal escalope and granchio e gamberoni pasta. The veal was perfectly tender and not oily. The pasta was our favourite the sauce with crab and prawns created an beautifully rich bisque The only downside was that they were really understaffed, which slowed everything down. They tried their best and were working so hard to manage the tables. Overall, the food was amazing and staff very friendly, it’s definitely a new local for us!
