Very nice! A surprise moment on 1st sip when I had flashbacks through coffee worshipping moments in the great cities of the world, mostly Wellington NZ in the 1990s View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Drugstore:
test this place for the first time and unfortunately the coffee was terrible. very bitter, burned edgeline. mourns me to say how the load itself looked really cool and the staff was very friendly. View all feedback.
If you're passing through Summer Hill on your way to work, The Drugstore is a great spot to grab your morning coffee fix. They serve excellent coffee and also offer a selection of pastries for a quick grab-and-go option.
The Drugstore is a charming coffee shop located in Sydney's inner west that serves delicious Campos coffee. Adding to its unique charm, there is a Singer sewing machine that serves as a table in one corner of the shop.
Located on Smith Street not too far from Summer Hill train station. Needed a caffeine fix in the morning and this looked like a suitable place to stop for a while. <br/ <br/ It was quite busy with lots of people having the same idea as me and there was a quite a queue for takeaway but decided to dine in. Grabbing a spare chair at the bench I ordered a Cappuccino. Made with Campos coffee, it had nice coffee art on top and the tasted wonderful. Service was pleasant too.
I haven't tried the food yet, but the coffee here is incredible. Places like this are what make Summer Hill such a fantastic place to live. If you're in the area, don't bother getting coffee anywhere else.
I've only ever been here for takeaway coffee, but it's consistently been good. Campos coffee is always great. There can often be a bit of a line in peak times, but it's not too long a wait generally.
