Pike (served a variety of ways) is on the menu either as part of a first course or as a main dish. Whichever way we've had it so far, it has been delicious and we've not yet encountered any bones. Despite it being lunchtime on a Friday, there were no cheaper lunchtime options, just the full expensive menu. I chose a starter as a compromise and had a salad smoked duck breast with fig mustard dressing for Fr.23. .. It was absolutely swimming in oil/dressing and only a small portion for the money. I came there the first time based on Tripadvisor reviews and tried fried pike (it was recommended in the reviews) it was overcooked and dry I was not happy. I gave the place a second try and ordered the pike provencale this was really a very nice meal. They have a nice garden in the rear of the restaurant the diningroom is simple Servie was friendly
When staying in Murtensee area, you should not miss this friendly restaurant with amazing fish-specialised cuisine. But not only the fish, also fresh salads or other poultry or meat meals, home-made sauces and originally served sides, together with nice selection of local and other quality wines would make your experience unforgettable. Verified via several visits during last year and trully recommended.

Ich habe noch nie so guten Hecht gegessen! Sehr aufmerksame Bedienung und sehr freunlicher Koch, der uns auch den kleinen Garten für wärmere Abende gezeigt hat. Wir freuen uns auf den Sommer und kommen gerne wieder.
Im Croix blanche wurden wir freundlichst empfangen und verbrachten einen sehr gemütlichen Abend. Die Hausspezialität ist Hecht und natürlich haben wior uns auf die Version "maison" gestürzt. Es hat sich gelohnt: es war fervorragend. Keine Geräte, feine Tartarsauce und frische Schalenkartoffeln. Einfach gut. dazu lokale Weine, was will man mehr?
