I traveled from British Columbia, Canada, and visited this restaurant during my trip, dining with my aunt and uncle. I have to say, out of all the places we've eaten, Pappasito was my absolute FAVORITE. It was worth every penny! As a lovely surprise, the restaurant treated us to a complimentary dessert from the local area, which was such a thoughtful gesture. I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone. Even when I... What Tanisha Clarittha Miller doesn't like about Pappasito's Cantina:
I want to share my disappointing experience at this restaurant with my family. We were not treated well during our visit. The dish I ordered was extremely spicy, to the point that I couldn't eat it. The waitress said she would take it back to discuss it with her manager. However, the most upsetting part was when my mom ordered something to take home, and the waitress carelessly dropped the rice and beans on the table... View all feedback.
They have been coming to Papasitos for years and I must say they are consistent in providing high-quality service and top notch Tex Mex Food. I don't even have to ask my waiter to refill my chips and salsa. Thank you so much for providing such great service and food. I have traveled the world and eaten in many restaurants and you are really a first-class restaurant.
This is one of our favorite Tex mex restaurants in the Sugar Land area. We’ve dined here numerous times. The staff does an excellent job. On our visit this past Monday night, Brian did an awesome job checking with us several times about our son’s food allergy before finalizing the order. Our waiter Darwin(I think that was his name? did a great job as well! Great job guys!!
Everything was very good. It was crowded, but the wait was less than 10 minutes. We had the combo beef/chicken fajitas, and they got the food out fast! The fajitas were excellent and the service was good too, something that was lacking on previous visits long ago. We had the tres leches for dessert, and it was great as always.
I love this place BUT I was a bit disappointed last night. The chicken on two plates was not fully cooked. Was very rubbery. The beef that was requested to be well done was still blatantly pink/red. The food is way too expensive to be under cooked. The waitress and manager was kind though and offered to make it right. But again, it’s way too expensive for any of the food to be under par.
Great food and fun atmosphere. Service was incredible.
