Firehouse Subs First Colony

I went in last night and the girl with the very short haircut and piercings was touching the cleaning rag and making the sandwiches. The rag was next to the food and she kept wiping the crumbs from the rag closer to the sandwiches and after touchingthe dirty cloth she would keep making the food. Didn?t change gloves once. I threw away my sandwich and would like my orderrefunded due to the health concerns at this establishment

Firehouse is my favorite place for subs, but this location has declined with clutter and slow service. I like to sit at the bar by the windows, but today they were covered with boxes. Only 4 customers at noon...? Hmmm...maybe others are seeing what I see.I

Firehouse Subs generally stands out amongst the sandwich places but this one I have just seen a steady decline in. Main thing I guess on this one is the service had become extremely bad. Like to the point of the staff walking off while you're placing yourorder and coming back to ask you to start over. The location is extremely dirty and unkempt on the inside. The seating tightwhich would not normally be an issue, but with the tables and floor being dirty my go to spit would be the bar style seating atthe windows and even that is generally uncleaned now. Food is pretty consistently good and the beverage machine is alwaysworking. That is a huge plus when you have a family as everyone can get what they want. Parking is tight and unassigned by thebusiness, but there is plenty of parking just not all at the storefront. Can't really recommend this location, my family stilllikes Firehouse so we'll just find one that cares more.

It was wonderful to be greeted by friendly smiles, and the fantastic sandwich was the icing on the cake. I ordered the spicy Cajun chicken, and it didn't disappoint!
