Definitely not small and good quality (try the verduras en tempura, for example). Not sure if this is to compete with the Chinese-run place on the opposite corner or for some other reason, but definitely worth a visit now.

They are participating in the “jornadas gastronomicos” , where several restaurants offer a tasting menu for 19 euro p.p. in the weekends, the month of February. Of course I had to give that a try! The menu included 2 starters, octopus with potato pure and tuna with sweet onion which were both very tasty! The Arroz meloso is a rice dish that I would describe to be something between a paella (dry rice) and a stew or risoto. We had the Arroz meloso with gambas and squid prepared with a tasty broth. The service was good, the table we reserved had a beautiful ocean view. A perfect location for a Sunday lunch on the beach.

Incidentally now, out of season, it is back, although not great value. This time, we took tapas: the quality and quantity were very good, so would recommend for that. Service friendly and very prompt and efficient.

We had the menu de la casa for 23€ per person (the drinks are not included). The bread with traditional natural tomato sauce and ajoaceite sauce has costs apart from the menu. The menu includes: a tapa of salpicón de marisco , croquetas de cocido , esgarraet , chipirones con pasas y piñones , arroz abanda or paella and the dessert of the day, all this just for 23€/per person.
