Sobre Mesa - Sudbury

An excellent Special Sunday night at Sobre Mesa. The roasted goat tacos were excellent! The Mescal tasting was very interesting. Tres Leche cake was amazing! I hate getting a cold, just out of the walk-in dessert and the Tres Leche tasted just made! Waitstaff is exceptional. A shout out to Dave! Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

The manager gave us a table out on the patio, even though they were short staff and had closed the patio to more people. I was a bit afraid that our service would be slow because of the staffing issue. However, that wasn 't a problem at all. Our waiter, Dave, was awesome. He was attentive and engaging, and we never had to wait for anything. We never felt rushed or bothered by constant do you need anything else? (read: hurry up and leave). Dave was a great representative for the restaurant. The manager was so fun! She checked in on us a couple of times, even offering us bug spray for mosquitos (which we never saw or felt). The food was really good. The only reason I didn 't give them 5 stars on the food is because the pork in my tacos Al Pasto were a little tough. But the flavor was great. Their salsa was so good, and the salsa tower was really interesting. Several of those were too hot for my taste, but the others were really good. I can 't wait to come back to Sobre Mesa.

The food was delicious and the atmosphere was very relaxing. The staff was a bit absent at times, but overall they worked together well to ensure our needs were met. We attempted to buy gift cards after dinner, but the bartender told us to speak to the hostess who was busy chatting with customers at the bar. After waiting for 10 minutes, we left without the gift cards. Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5

Great experience at Sobre Mesa this past Saturday. The quality of the food and the service was incredible, every single dish was delicious and service as great. For such a fun, festive environment with great food, it's a bit reserved and it really shouldn't be. Busy, but comfortable. Staff do their part to make people feel comfortable.
