What localguy doesn't like about Bullfinchs:
Average experience at BullFinch. This was our first time there. We sat in a backroom that looked outdated and not like it was part of the restaurant. Our waitress seemed nice, but didn't really service us well. She forgot to bring a drink, almost walked away without taking my order, and didn't check on us to see if we needed anything else. What a great dining experience every time! We make the trip from North Providence, RI at least two times a year just to eat here. The dishes and desserts are consistently extraordinary and tasty!
We have been eating here for decades, and it never disappoints. Their cocktails are generous (how the servers get them to the table without spilling a drop is still a mystery), and the food is delish. I recently had the trout, whose lemon sauce is a true winner.
The food was excellent with creative and interesting dishes. While the staff could have been more engaging, they were not bad. The ambiance was quaint and pleasant, with a comfortable noise level that allowed for easy table conversation. I would recommend this restaurant and will probably go back.
Excellent food, great hospitality and ambiance, sterling service.
We had the best time. Our server was very nice and accommodating. Since we were celebrating my birthday I even got a very delicious crem brûlée with a candle on top as a surprise from the restaurant. I will recommend Bullfinchs to anyone any day.
