It also comes with bread and their special butter and vegetables. For the set we ordered, we got the tomato soup and pork belly. The soup was yummy but nothing too unique. The pork belly was cooked perfectly! The pork used had a good ratio of meat and fat and the top was nice and crispy. We also ordered the pig knuckle main. Don't expect the usual German whole knuckle on your plate! It is a deconstructed knuckle and very very tasty. Similar to the pork belly, there was a nice mixture of meat and crispy pork skin. One note we went during lunch on a Saturday, it was all older people all really well dressed in suits. Very quiet ambiance, in case that's not what you're looking for. Service was impeccable. I'd want to try their dinner some day!
I had dinner at Die Zirbelstube on Saturday evening and it was a fantastic experience. The food, wines and staff were first class. On my list already when I return....
