There are only two people who run the restaurant. The owner(cook) and the service lady.I have not eaten so well in the last eight years in Stuttgart. We decided on the surprise evening meal which consisted of five main courses. Once you have eaten it all you are full to a perfection.I must say, this restaurant is excellent.

From the greeting... read more This restaurant is a secret spot has not come yet into the spotlight. Go before then.Enter this small establishment and prepare to be amazed. From the greeting and seating by the proprietors, to the explanation of magically concocted edible artwork, Hupperts will leave you immediately yearning for more. Scallops, Trout, Duck, Venison and gorgeously paired wines are available on the recent menu. Each plate outdoes the next in a five course meal. I could not have been more satisfied, and look forward to my next return.This small modern setting is the perfect place to enjoy in the company of other cuisine fanatics. There are less than 15 tables. The staff are warm and helpful, but consist only of a husband/wife team with an assistant in the kitchen. The basement offers a cozy, fireside cigar lounge. A wonderful experience, four hours of dining and chat will go by in the blink of an eye. Eight course meal with wine-pairing and gratuity for two adults is roughly €250, a sound price given the quality. Make your reservations and prepare to have your highest expectations surpassed. Downside: Not in close proximity to late night transportation (U-bahn, S-bahn, Taxi Stand).

Discovering the place a bit outside the Stuttgart centre, meeting the very friendly owners, each dish of the menu is a pleasure for all senses and the wine selection fits wonderfully to it. Fish on two dishes...and meat on one dish was really cooked to perfection. There is no doubt,we will be back, this is THE discovery of our last trip to Stuttgart

Not just in food quality, but in their approach, service, presentation and friendly, hard to replicate atmosphere. Third...time is a charm. This latest visit sealed the deal for me. We invited friends with high standards when it comes to dining out. This visit to Hupperts didn't disappoint. I finally got to partake in the sweet cigar/drinks lounge in the basement. We were asked if a fire would be a nice addition it was a bit cooler and it was awesome. I really didn't want to leave. The service continued even then... The attitude of the staff is incredibly humble given their background and experience. You will not find a friendlier dining experience in Stuttgart.

If you're i... read more My husband and I chose this on the basis of reviews and it was just like I said. It was so much more than a meal. It was an adventure and adventure! If you're in town, you have to stop here. It's fabulous. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Be ready to spend a few hours as it is courses of food, but everyone is brilliant together. We highly recommend.
