I could give six stars. Amazing home made Greek food in the heart of the beans quarter. Moderately price, welcoming and friendly owners. No English menu and cash only, but not discouraged, it is a must try space. View all feedback.
What Mathias Bruns doesn't like about Taverne Diogenes:
With great sadness I have to note that here I had one of the most hearbreaking dinners in the city. The salad was very modest, fries were too hard, the gyros was burnt and the service complacent etc. This was only confirmed by an elderly couple at a neighbouring table. My friend who suggested we check out this cute restaurant apologised to me for hours for making me go there. Very sad indeed. View all feedback.

The lady was really friendly. Although we went a little late and it was on Sunday, she didn't turn us back. The food was quite delicious and the prices are very reasonable.

An authentic Greek restaurant with a great atmosphere. The food was freshly prepared and catapulted me directly to Greece at the first bite. It was aromatic, wonderfully seasoned and beautifully juicy. The selection on the map is great among the appetizers and there are delicious wines. The service, I think it was the owner, was very friendly for us and gave us great hospitality.
