Belle Joli Winery Sparkling House

My group and I came for the $10 flights. The server and service was great! I got the estate flight, and that was right up my alley as I like sweet flavors! Would definitely recommend to anyone. Ended up landing on a bottle of Dakota Breeze.

I worked at Belle Joli for about 2 months. upon my initial employment, I enjoyed the job. however, as time went on, I quickly changed my mind. before you consider working here, please read my review as an employee. when I quit, I was contacted for an exit interview. wanting to leave all of this behind me, I respectfully declined. as I never signed a contract agreeing to an exit interview and knew they weren't legally enforceable in the state of South Dakota, I didn't think this would be an issue. however, I was shocked when the owner who contacted me, Choi Jackson, threatened to withhold my paycheck until provided an interview. per the South Dakota Labor and Employment Laws, it is not legally permissible to withhold an employees paycheck. unless of course they are in possession of company property, which I was not. I am a hard working young lady who is very easy to get along with and tries her best at everything she does. I've never had an issue with an employer in the past. however, after my unpleasant experience at Belle Joli, I cannot recommend working here.

What a great winery! So unique with it being a sparkling wine house as well. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The patio is huge and overlooks the small vineyard. They offer a membership with many benefits. Definitely going back!

We really love this winery. We stopped by a couple of years ago when in SD and we liked it so much, we came again when we were in the area. Staff is always amazing, we especially appreciated Hannah, Devon and Josie, who took great care of us when we were there. They were informative and accommodating. The wines are beautiful and the location is stunning. The patio are is very relaxing and inviting. The have Methode Champenoise sparkling, which is, in my opinion, the best sparkling out there. Also an interesting Cab which is fermented in stainless steel, unlike any that I am used to, being from CA, but, very nice. I recommend this as a stop for any wine lover!
