The food is fantastic, the staff is awesome and we had the best time reconnecting with one anther. If you love Italian food come here to eat.

We have been dining at Avellino's for many years and have always enjoyed it. We have celebrated a few New Year's Eves there and have had good experiences. Howev... read more We have been dining at Avellino's for many years and have always enjoyed it. We have celebrated a few New Year's Eves there and have had good experiences. However, this year was a letdown. It was our 41st anniversary on New Year's Eve and we were seated promptly at our reservation time. Our server was friendly, but it seemed like they were short-staffed. It took a while for our drink order to be taken and even longer for them to be brought to our table. One of the drinks was completely wrong and it took some effort to get it fixed. We ordered two appetizers, but they took too long to arrive and were lukewarm and not very tasty. Two of our main dishes were hot and enjoyable, but the other two were cold. It seemed like they were prepared in advance and refrigerated, but not reheated properly. Overall, it was a disappointing meal, which has never happened to us before at Avellino's. We are not sure what went wrong, but it was not up to the usual standard we expect from this restaurant, especially on special occasions. We will probably give Avellino's another chance in the future, but not anytime soon.

H... read more The restaurant is stunning and the food was amazing. The waitress brought the incorrect wine that we had ordered and did not go out of her way to be friendly. However, overall it was a positive experience and I would certainly come back!
